Tuesday. This is an example of eyelid surgery, with ptosis (pronounced toe-sis). Ptosis repair fixes one of the thin muscles (the locator muscle) that raises the eyelid. Standard blepharoplasty removes excess skin and fat. If the muscle is weak and is not repaired you will still be left with a sleepy looking eyelid. Together the surgery gives an uncluttered crisp awake appearance. Recover can be a little longer but well worth it. That’s it for today’s lesson! 👁️👁️👁️👀👀
