After 2 years of intense training and battling through multiple injuries, our patient Avril Sanchez had one big goal in sight — to represent Team USA at the World Dragon Boat Racing Championships in Germany. We’ve had the privilege of being her lead physician throughout her journey, helping her push through pain, restore mobility, and stay on track toward the world stage. When competition day arrived, Avril shared the best news we could hear — she was pain-free for the first time in years and performing at 100%, exactly when it mattered most. She returned home not only pain-free but also with some serious hardware: 🥇 1 Gold, 🥈 5 Silvers, and 🥉 3 Bronze medals! Congratulations, Avril!
