Wisdom begins with knowing God, is followed by understanding his word, and built upon by obeying with discipline. Wisdom is something God wants to freely give to those that have faith in Him (James 1:5-8).

Let’s be honest, it’s usually really hard to think, act, and speak in a healthy and holy way! We all like sheep go astray (Isaiah 53:6). Sometimes the Bible says we are like dogs returning to our own vomit, repeating folly and mistakes (Proverbs 26:11).

Wisdom is not just to know God is the Lord of all Lords, but to place yourself under His authority as your King. This requires knowing His word—His laws, commandments, promises, and prophecies—and aligning your life in both heart and action to what God says is good.
