Happy Thanksgiving from Crenshaw Community Hospital!

Today we celebrated Day Shift Thanksgiving Lunch and Night Shift Thanksgiving Dinner! Each filled with Thanksgiving Bingo, amazing food, fun moments, laughter, and so much to be thankful for.

We are deeply grateful for our incredible staff and for all of the positive changes happening here at CCH. There is a renewed energy throughout the hospital, and we are truly excited for all that’s ahead.

Celebrating Ms. Bobby’s 18 Years of Service 💚

Last week, we had the privilege of celebrating Ms. Bobby and her 18 wonderful years of dedication here at Crenshaw Community Hospital.

If you know Ms. Bobby, you know her kindness lights up every hallway. She has been a steady, smiling presence for nearly two decades. She’s always willing to help, always taking pride in her work, and always treating everyone with genuine care.

Her commitment to keeping our hospital clean, safe, and welcoming has touched every patient, visitor, and staff member who’s walked through our doors. She doesn’t just take care of our building, she takes care of us.

Ms. Bobby, thank you for your loyalty, your hard work, and the heart you’ve poured into CCH all these years. You’ve made a lasting impact on our CCH family, and we are so grateful for you.

Welcome, Dr. Fred Pich – Interim Medical Director of the Emergency Department

Crenshaw Community Hospital is proud to welcome Dr. Fred Pich, DO, as our Interim Medical Director of the Emergency Department, effective November 1, 2025.

Dr. Pich is recognized for his collaborative leadership style and steadfast commitment to quality, communication, and patient-centered care. In addition to his role at CCH, he serves as Medical Director for Dothan Ambulance Service, Troy Fire Department, Haynes Ambulance in Troy, Survival Flight 15, Wallace College Department of Emergency Medical Services, and the Southeast Alabama EMS Region 5.

He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his Emergency Medicine Residency at the University of Florida – Gainesville.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Pich enjoys spending time with his son (an avid drummer), as well as hunting, fishing, and traveling.

Please join us in giving a warm welcome to Dr. Pich as he begins serving our community and leading the Emergency Department team at Crenshaw Community Hospital.

We were so touched today when one of our recent swing bed patients surprised our team with Subway lunches to thank us for taking such good care of her during her stay! 🥪💐
