Due to changes made to ATS's security policy, we had to make some minor adjustments on how students-athletes log into ATS. Upcoming 7th graders, class of 2031, will have a different first password than previous years. These students should use their 6 digit lunch number as the athlete ID, and " Cougs #01 " as the password. ATS can be accessed at this URL:

A special moment as former Hazleton Area teammates face off at the college level!

⚾️ 2022 Grad Bryce Molinaro of Penn State goes head-to-head with 2024 Grad Antonio Doganiero of Pitt.

It’s incredible to see our hometown players competing at such a high level. Once teammates, now opponents —keep making us proud boys!

Sports Nutrition Tip for the Wrestler:

Caloric balance is critical to in-season health and performance. Continual under-fueling of your body’s nutritional needs will undermine your training and recovery efforts. A continued caloric deficit while training can impact metabolism, muscle repair, physical energy, cognitive function, injury, illness, academic performance, and more.

How to fuel before weigh-ins (24-48 hours before):

High protein meals + snacks

Healthy fats, such as olive oil, fish, and nuts reduce inflammation

Low fiber foods, fibrous foods hold onto water

Low sodium, high salt food increase water retention

Moderate carbohydrate intake prior, but refuel with carbs post weigh-in to replenish your glycogen stores

Hydrate well the week prior to training. Only during the final 24 hours of pre weigh-ins should you allow mild dehydration by incompletely replacing fluid lost through sweat during training.
