I have some more exciting news for Cairn Hands.

Some of you may have noticed from looking online, as of October 6th I will be changing my schedule to Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9am-4pm. School is in and the days will be getting shorter before we know it.

Change is here!

School has started here in Lyme and the seasons are starting to change. There are some new changes for Cairn Hands as well.

Starting September 22nd price will be raised by $10

If you start booking after the 22nd it will be the new price. Current pricing will be applied to appointments that have been booked before the 22nd.

60 minute massage NOW $100
90 minute massage NOW $130

Now is the time to schedule your next Appointment

Welcome Back!

It has been an adventure these past 2 months but I am glad to announce that I will be back to work on July 7th! I already have people signed up that week so if you need an appointment, now would be a good time to get your calendar out and book as soon as you can. At the bottom of this email there is a "book now" button that will take you to the booking site.

NEW SERVICES AVAILABLE NOW

Powder Massage: this massage is great for those who either prefer to have a lighter touch or need more lymphatic work. This massage uses corn starch instead of oil or lotion which is fantastic at gently exfoliating the skin making it super soft without the feeling of being greasy after a massage. It also allows the therapist to SEE the vibrational shifts inside your body.

Contrast Therapy: This massage is very similar to a hot stone with the added benefit of Cold Stones. The hot and cold stones are lubricated with oil and glided over your skin and muscles. This is wonderful for those who have chronic pain, swelling, athletic injuries, or other aches and pains. The heat brings the blood, oxygen and other nutrients to heal and relax and the cold helps reduce swelling and pain. Not reccomended for those who have kidney, circulatory, heart issues or are pregnant.

Aromatherapy: This is an add on to any massage. You will have the essential oil of your choice (Eucalyptus, Lavender, Peppermint and Tea Tree) in the room to breathe in and massged into you skin around your chest and neck so you can have the fragrance with you for the rest of the day.

Heather's Reccomendations:

Lavender: Relaxation and calmness
Peppermint: rejuvination and excellent for headaches and sinus pressure
Eucalyptus: sinus pressure, seasonsal allergies and open air passageways
Tea Tree: Another option for sinuses and invigoration

Our latest news

I hope this email finds you well!

I wanted to give you an update regarding our current situation at Cairn Hands Massage Therapy. Unfortunately, due to a recent injury, my husband broke his ankle, and we are closed tentatively until July 7th. This means I’ll be running his Pepperidge Farm route and managing our appointments during this period.
I’m so grateful for your understanding and support during his time.

As we approach reopening, I want to keep everyone informed and engaged with our community. We’re working on some exciting plans for when we’re back, including new wellness tips and special offers. Introducing 3 new options to help relieve aches and pains!

Contrast Therapy: uses hot and cold stones with towels to bring inflammation down and increase circulation.

Powder massage: uses cornstarch as the medium for the massage. This is excellent for lighter massages to help with lymphatic drainage. Can also be used with deep tissue and relaxation massages.

Aromatherapy: choose between Eucalyptus, Peppermint, Lavender and Tea Tree essential oils.

News and Openings

Hello All!

It is so great that we are back into the swing of things. Can you believe Thanksgiving and Christmas are around the corner?! Here are some friendly reminders for this time of year.

I will be gone on vacation the week of December 23rd through December 29th. I will be out of state and probably out of cell service as well. However, if you need to call please leave me a message. Or you can text me. While I am away, if anyone needs their regular massage please feel free to reach out to Stephanie Davis at Deleon Day Spa in Lyme. She is a Licensed Massage Therapist and a Personal Trainer.

Secondly, it is that time of the year where sickness is abundant. I will be wearing my mask in session until further notice to help negate the spread of illness. If you would like one upon arrival I can give you a mask or you don't have to wear one. They are not required.

If you are sick please stay home. Even if you cancel the hour before our session you will not be charged! I would rather everyone stay safe and healthy.

I will also be adding a Waiting List. If you don't see a time or day that works for you available please contact me with your name, number, length of appointment and when you would like to schedule.
