Welcome friends and new followers! I’m excited to share with you more about The Dizzy PT 👏🏻
I am a native to Lynchburg, VA and received my doctorate in Physical Therapy at .of.lynchburg in 2013. Over the years, I have narrowed my focus in treating people with vestibular disorders. Not sure what that is? I’ll explain 😉
Vestibular dysfunction usually results in symptoms of dizziness, vertigo, imbalance, brain fog etc. There are many causes of vertigo and part of my job is to evaluate your specific situation, determine if it is a vestibular issue, and provide a custom rehab program in effort to return to your “normal” self.
Vestibular therapy is usually exercise based but can also include manual therapy, positional maneuvers, and progressive movements to reduce symptoms.
What is different about The Dizzy PT?
⭐️ I am mobile! That means I come to you. I provide in home evaluations and treatment sessions. Who wants to leave your house when you are dizzy? 👎🏻
⭐️ I don’t accept insurance. This allows me to spend more time with each patient and provide the best care…not dictated by your insurance 🙃
⭐️ As a patient of The Dizzy PT, you have direct access to me. I stay in close communication with my patients and am easy to reach with questions/concerns. All of your time spent in therapy is with me…not tossed around from therapist to therapist.
⭐️ I’m certified in clinical vestibular rehabilitation. This was an additional certification post PT school. This is my specialty!
I truly enjoy what I do and love getting to help people. If you want to know more about vestibular rehab therapy (VRT) let me know! I offer free phone consultations and am happy to answer any questions.
