The FARRR Foundation, Inc., affectionately known as "The Lighthouse" was established in 2004 by a first-generation Asian-American. Situated in a 150 year-old historical building located in Lynchburg, VA, the Lighthouse is filled with a diverse family of servant leaders on a mission to build trauma-resilience in the people they serve through dignified tangible programs that foster security and self
-reliance. The Lighthouse braids affordable Healthcare, Housing, Medication, and Transportation through its family of services. It carefully supports a healthy community while nourishing essential relationships, cultural competence, and empathy-building skills between the participants, volunteers, and providers.
* Lighthouse Community Health Services and Lighthouse Pharmacy: The Jesse Kay Clinic at Lighthouse is a nurse practitioner-led community-based clinic offering primary care, prevention care, medication management for chronic diseases, and free STD testing. * Lighthouse Beloved Community CLT: Affordable ownership of sustainable, attainable, and generational housing. Home ownership classes and down payment assistance available for first time home buyers!
* Lighthouse Community Center: "One-Stop Center" with access to food, clothing, bicycles, homeless backpacks, hygiene kits, reentry supportive housing services for men, and restoration of rights, and voter registration.
