Holy Yoga Lynchburg will need to take a pause for at least the summer to enable my focus to support husband Paul in his unexpected stroke May 1. It’s become apparent that the adjustments to our new normal as well as many appointments & therapy ahead will demand time & energy that isn’t God's blessed to divide for the sake of Paul OR the class (Colossians 3:23-24).

We may not have chosen it, but our sovereign God was not surprised when Paul suffered a stroke May 1. By His grace & providential care our Lord has guided & provided every step of the way from ambulance through ER, NICU, Step down unit, & now Acute Rehab Care at VBH as well as support for us both through many intersecting communities with which we're associated. He's dealing with expressive aphasia & Right-sided weakness, but his mind is sharp & he's progressing daily in therapy. We both appreciate your thoughts, support & prayers.
