We’re just TWO months away from our annual Arc Aid fundraiser! 🎉

If you’ve ever wondered why we host this event each year, here’s a closer look at the heart behind it…

Why Arc Aid? Because it’s more than a music festival, it’s how we make impact.

The Arc Aid Music Festival brings our community together for a day of live music, connection, and purpose but what happens beyond that day is even bigger.

Funds raised through the Arc Aid Music Festival power the programs and services that support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families helping them live, work, and thrive.

The Arc of Central Virginia will be closed on Monday, April 6, 2026. We wish you and your families and loved ones a very Happy Easter! 🐣💐

04/03/2026

Guess who came to pay us a visit this morning?? 🐰🌸

The Easter Bunny stopped by to greet our individuals as they arrived and it definitely brought lots of smiles and laughter to start the day! 💛

Moments like these remind us how important joy, connection, and community are in everything we do.

Today is Autism Awareness Day! This year’s theme is “Autism and Humanity: Every Life Has Value" and it reminds us of what truly matters.

We are moving beyond awareness and toward action. We are championing dignity, rights, and full inclusion for all autistic individuals. It is about creating communities that embrace neurodiversity, not ones that expect conformity.

Today and every day, we remain committed to advocating for meaningful inclusion and lasting systemic change.

Our partners at The Arc of Virginia will be sharing valuable resources all month long and we encourage you to follow along and discover how you can be part of the movement.

DD Awareness Month has ended, but now we get the opportunity to dive deeper into one of those developmental disabilities. Throughout April, we will be sharing knowledge, resources, busting myths, and more about Autism - all so folks can advocate more for themselves, each other, and advocate together!

What matters most to you about Autism awareness and acceptance?
