We are a helping team of life-long learning professionals who constantly strive to evolve their professional skills in order to promote self-reliance by focusing on clients' strengths and empowering them to solve their own problems. We believe that all people have the right to live in a loving family environment where everyone is safe, well-cared for and protected. We take responsibility for preventing abuse and neglect and the unnecessary placement or institutionalization of people. We restore stability, laughter, and love to families, schools, and communities.

Shirley Powell-Tazewell was recognized as our Tidewater Region Champion of the Month! Shirley is a joy to be around, a dedicated team member, and a true “OG” our Tidewater Region. She eagerly learns new programs, communicates openly, shares her knowledge, and goes above and beyond for her clients, who absolutely adore her.
