Our mission is to help you walk from brokenness to healing. The counselors at HFT are prepared to intervene in challenging situations life brings such as depression, marital problems, addiction and anxiety to name a few. Hope for Tomorrow also offers counseling in positive life situations including pre-marital and career counseling. Hope for Tomorrow also sees as part of its’ mission to work with local churches to provide affordable, professional counseling to our community. To accomplish this, we have forged strategic alliances with local churches and ministries. Our unique relationships with churches and ministries in Central Virginia and surrounding areas allow us to also provide a spiritual emphasis in our counseling. Throughout the counseling process, we encourage our clients’ spiritual development and growth within the context of Christian community. Alliances with churches allow Hope for Tomorrow to offer Christ-centered counseling for about one-half of the average hourly rate otherwise charged by these services. This is our ministry and calling to serve our church family and community. Hope for Tomorrow is made up of licensed therapists (Mental Health Counselors, Marriage and Family Therapists and Clinical Social Workers) and license eligible resident counselors who have earned at least a Master’s degree from the most respected seminaries and graduate schools in our country. Our therapists are also professional, competent and caring; they counsel from a Christian perspective.
