With great food, festive cheer, and fantastic music by The Caravan Band, the evening was filled with dancing—from big band classics to swing and waltzes. 💃🕺

We wrapped up the fun with a lively conga line and a champagne toast at 7:00 PM, celebrating the New Year London-style! 🥂🎉

Thank you to everyone who joined the fun and helped us kick off the New Year in such joyful style. Take a look and relive the memories! 📸✨ Happy New Year!

🎄 Christmas Trees Through the Years with Mary Kathryn McIntosh 🎄

Residents recently enjoyed a delightful and enlightening presentation from fellow resident Mary Kathryn McIntosh, who took us on a journey through the history of the American Christmas tree. From vintage ornaments and their origins to the surprising story behind those little metal caps, everyone walked away with something new to appreciate.

It was a festive trip down memory lane—and we’ll never look at our Christmas trees quite the same way again! ✨

🦅 “The Bald Eagle – The Official National Bird” with Dr. Joe Pond

Residents recently gathered in the Commons for a fascinating WC University presentation by fellow resident Dr. Joe Pond. His lecture explored the dramatic and often perilous journey of the Bald Eagle on its way to becoming America’s national bird.

Dr. Pond also shared remarkable insights into the species’ life cycle, its symbolism, and its near-extinction—twice—in U.S. history. It was an engaging and educational program enjoyed by all who attended!
