We are proud to celebrate an incredible milestone at Lynchburg Nursing Center — Penny Burton, Director of Food & Nutrition Services, marking 25 years of service (and counting)! 👏
Penny began her journey here as a PRN and never imagined it would turn into a lifelong career. Over the years, she has grown into a leader who not only ensures our residents receive three nutritious meals every day, but also brings heart, compassion, and connection into everything she does. 🫂

From organizing meaningful moments like holiday meals for residents and families, to building lasting relationships with coworkers who have become like family, Penny’s impact reaches far beyond the kitchen. Her proudest accomplishment? Earning her Certified Dietary Manager certification — a testament to her commitment to excellence and growth. As a leader, Penny leads by example, supports her team, and finds the greatest reward in seeing others succeed. ⭐
