We’re so grateful to have Sarah High joining the Eden team.

She brings a steady, thoughtful presence to the therapy room and is especially passionate about working with trauma, anxiety, trauma, faith transitions, pregnancy & postpartum, and grief and loss.

As a Resident in Counseling in Virginia, Sarah works under clinical supervision while continuing to deepen her training and clinical skills within her specific specialties.

We are so excited to introduce our resident, Tesa! Tesa believes in creating a safe, supportive space where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings without shame or judgment. She helps clients identify their values and discover which thoughts are truly worth their attention.

From Tesa:
“I like to walk alongside clients as we explore past and present hurts, face fears about the future, and learn how to navigate family and peer relationships. With couples, I enjoy helping you discover what works best for your unique relationship.”

Tesa has experience supporting clients who struggle with obsessive thoughts, relational distress, and couples counseling.

When she’s not counseling, you can find her horseback riding, spending time with friends, playing with her pets, or at the gym.

We are so excited to introduce our resident, Taylor! She is transitioning from our intern to a resident, who believes every person carries an innate capacity for healing. Taylor’s goal is to create a safe and compassionate space for clients to process their stories, grow in self-awareness, and heal from past or present hurt.

From Taylor: “I believe every part of your story is valuable and worthy of care. My approach is holistic and trauma-informed, weaving together Internal Family Systems, narrative therapy, attachment-based work, and body-centered practices to help restore safety and integration within the nervous system. I am passionate about helping clients reflect on their stories with curiosity and compassion, and explore new ways of relating to themselves and others.”

Taylor has experience working with anxiety, depression, perfectionism, relational wounds, trauma, life transitions, missionary kids/TCK issues, culture shock/reentry, and faith-informed integration. She is also trained in Dan Allender’s Narrative Focused Trauma Care/Story Work (NFTC).

We are so excited to announce our newest residents! Meet Reagan, she is a Resident inCounseling with several years of experience in the mental health field. Her goal is to create a safe space for clients to heal, grow in compassionate awareness of themselves, and develop the skills they need to live healthy, authentic lives.

From Reagan: “I am passionate about coming alongside people as they explore their stories,heal, and learn to live in line with their values, and I love approaching issues with all aspects - physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual – in mind. My therapeutic work is client- centered and trauma-informed, and I pull from various approaches, including attachment theory, internal family systems therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy to promote health and well-being. My hope is that my clients will not only gain tools and skills to manage life in healthier ways, but that they will leave empowered to approach themselves and others with compassion, curiosity, and patience."

In my free time, I love being in nature, reading, playing D&D, and hanging out with friends and family”

Meet our Resident in Counseling joining our team, Avery! Avery’s approach is rooted in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS), which means she will help you explore your thoughts and emotions without judgement, connect to your core values, and build a life that feels meaningful and authentic.

From Avery: “I believe in creating a space that feels safe, collaborative, and deeply human. I know how vulnerable it can be to open up about your struggles, which is why I strive to meet each client with compassion, curiosity, and genuine respect for their unique story. I have experience supporting clients through challenges like anxiety, depression, family dynamics, self-worth, and navigating life transitions. Above all, I want our work together to empower you to help you trust yourself more, show up fully, and cultivate deeper connections with the world around you.

Outside of therapy, you’ll probably find me enjoying time outdoors, trying new recipes, or curled up with a good book. I look forward to walking alongside you in your journey.

We are so excited to announce our newest residents! The first new member of our team that we are so excited to have is Rin! Rin is a Resident in Counseling and is a trauma informed therapist who used body-focused and nervous-system informed interventions, mindfulness techniques and parts to work to guide clients into a deeper trust of their own experience.

From Rin: “ I am so honored to work with your sacred story. As a counselor, I create a space for you to grow into a more alive and vibrant version of yourself as you process your experiences, emotions, and beliefs.
