An update is warrented.

Messages to this page are still unaccessible by me. I can't see them, & I can't respond. I have reported it several times, with no fix. Please be aware that initial "reply in a timely manner" responses immediately following a message sent are auto generated by FB, as is the case for most if not all businesses pages.

I am referral ONLY. Most of my clients are on my personal FB page, but if we are not connected on FB, I will not see messages sent to my personal page, as those go to "Message Requests" with no notification. Text is the preferred method of contact, but of course phone calls & emails work well, too. If I do not respond to a message sent to my personal FB page in a timely manner, please ask the individual who referred you for my phone number or email.

Gift Card sales are suspended, effective immediately. Exceptions will be made for those wanting to purchase GCs for family members who are current clients. Please discuss that with me in advance, privately. To those who purchased GCs following my last surgery, the loss of my Dad, & the extended unpaid leave that followed, your compassion, generosity, & concern for my well being are deeply appreciated.

My health is still an issue, as is my grief over the loss of my Dad. I offer my sincerest apologies for not being able to deal with both in a more timely manner, & the inconveniences that (I'm sure) have been caused.

If you are a current client & have concerns or complaints, please feel free to address them with me. Your health & well being are my utmost priority, even if I am not the one able to provide that for you. I will be happy to give you a referral, with no hard feelings at all.

As always, I have the most amazing clients, & I am thankful for every one of you. There are no words to describe my depth of gratitude for the grace, understanding, concern, compassion, kindness that you have given to me through what has been (& continues to be) the most difficult time of my entire life. I give thanks for every one of you, every single day. ❤️

Good afternoon, Folks! I have a bit of an update, & some other information for everyone here. 🙂

While I do try to keep people as updated as possible here, I don't use this page daily, or even weekly. Facebook business pages are not "friendly" to small businesses without a large following, or those who choose not to spend money in advertising or post promotion. Additionally, messaging is full of glitches.

I have received notifications in the last few days for new messages, but there are no new messages visible when I check the inbox. If you have attempted to reach me here, I apologize for the lack of response. For this reason, this is not my primary contact option. Please reach out to me by text (preferred) or call. If you have my personal FB information, messages there are fine as well!

I don't take walk in appointments, or offer same day appointments. Cancelations are offered to my Wait List. My client list is by referral only.

From a health standpoint, I'm slowly but surely improving. There are still some struggles, but I hope to be back to my full schedule very soon.

My Clients are the most amazing people. The patience, understanding, & grace that I have been given both throughout the last two years & since returning to work in January have been beautiful & uplifting moments in this very difficult season of life that I'm in. I can't begin to tell you how grateful & appreciative I am for you. See you soon!

It's been a little while since I have updated here, & I apologize.

I am still dealing with some health issues related to my surgery in October. Morning appointments can be a little "iffy", & I sincerely appreciate everyone's patience & flexibility. I have added Fridays back to my schedule, & while I'm still not able to work a "full" day I'm hopeful to be calling more people back in for June.

Just a reminder, I am REFERRAL ONLY. I don't accept walk in clients or offer same day appointments. I'm not accepting new clients at this time, but I will be happy to add your name to a wait list for future availability. When reaching out about scheduling, please be sure to give the name of the person who referred you, so I can say "Thanks"! 🙂

Hi, Folks.

I never, ever thought that I would reach a point where I was emotionally not able to finish my day. My space has always been - & will always be - a safe space for my clients, & crying is something that happens fairly often, with no judgement. I never thought I would be the one crying through a session, though.

Both of those things happened this past week.

There were several factors that led to the decision to leave my former place of employment & "go out on my own". Needing to be more available for my family was the main reason, & knowing now what was meant to be I regret that decision not at bit.

Additionally, I felt I had outgrown what I could do there. I understand the reasoning behind the corporate policy against personal relationships with clients. That's frowned upon period in what I do. But because what's going in your life affects your body, I'm interested. Once I know, I'm invested. Once I'm invested, it's personal.

My clientele is one of the biggest blessings in my life. Three times this week, when asked, I counted my clientele in my "support network". Your care & compassion for my health & well being, as well as your support for me professionally, is one of the biggest positives in my life right now & things that I am incredibly grateful for.

I am not recovering well enough to add hours as quickly as I had hoped. Please know that if I have not reached out to you yet, you are not forgotten. I have a new Doctor, & I hopeful for answers that will have me on a better path for recovery soon. You ARE "on my radar", & I look forward to seeing you again.

I have consistently said over the past couple of years that I have THE very best clients. And I truly do. To be in the position I am & know that my clients are just as concerned for my well being as I have been for theirs is...overwhelming. There are no words to accurately express my gratitude for all of you.

An update, & a thank you...

My first week back, even with the drastically reduced hours, was much more physically exhausting than I had anticipated. I'm still getting sick when I eat, every time I eat, no matter what I eat. When you can't absorb what you eat, there's just no extra energy. I think I will be on a very reduced schedule for at least a few weeks. I have found a new Doctor, & have an appointment with my Naturopath in the upcoming weeks. I am hopeful for an answer & a new path concerning my health soon. I am confident that when we can solve the issue with me eating, & I am able to eat without getting sick, I will be able to increase my hours.

I am not scheduling far out at this time. I'm taking it a week or two at a time. The work that some clients need is more physically demanding than others, & I'm doing my best to find the best balance for both myself & my clients.

To those who have & are continuing to purchase Gift Certificates, thank you! I cannot tell who buys them at purchase, but they do show as a payment option for my clients with established Square accounts with me, which is new & very nice! I'd also like thank those who are holding GCs & have come in for an appointment this past week for choosing to use those at a later time. ♥️

I often "brag" that I have the very best clients. I truly do. Thank you for your patience, & for waiting for me to return. Thank you for your consideration & genuine concern for my physical & emotional health, & my financial well being. Thank you for being the wonderful people that you are. I am looking forward to seeing all of you just as soon as I can.

Hi Friends.
I have been released to return to work, beginning Monday. My first two weeks are very limited in hands on hours & days, & I have check ins with both my Surgeon & my Naturopath.

I have tried very hard to give myself a physically balanced work schedule, with both my client's needs & my own health & possible limitations in mind. I don't have "normal" clients, you all know that. You have all heard me say that I hate to be bored, & that I love a challenge when you bring me a problem that's"outside the box". Most of you, especially my athletes & gym rats, push yourselves pretty hard. Which I can relate to, being that "go big or go home" person. This was my fourth surgery in three years, & I have pushed myself with every recovery. I can't do that with this one.

If I have not contacted you just yet, I have not forgotten you. I would like to get through my first week - which is just 9 hours - with no injury or additional complications, & then schedule further out. I do plan to add two additional office days per month, but I don't yet have a time table for that.

I am still struggling with the loss of my Dad. While returning to work will be good for me, I will have to find a new normal there as well. No more calling Dad to see if he needs anything on my way home, no more calls from his Doctors, & so on. SO many of my clients are huggers, & I'm usually okay with that from you all. But please don't just yet. I just can't.

Many of you have asked about bringing food. What, how much, & when I'm able to eat is still limited. Maybe bring things I can tuck away in the freezer for later. ❤️

I appreciate your patience, concern, & support so very much. I have not had one single person that I have reached out to not want an appointment. There are no words to express how much that means to me.

I look forward to seeing you all again very soon. I have missed my work, & I have missed all of you.

Good morning, Friends & Clients.
I am hopeful that I'll be returning to work "on time", in mid January. I have another appointment with my Surgeon next week, & will hopefully have a more definite date.

To be completely transparent, due to some unexpected expenses that have come both directly & indirectly from my Dad's death, I am financially in a very tough spot. Quick update for my clients.
We are taking my Dad off the ventilator today, & letting him go. I appreciate the outpouring of support I've had.

The surgical complication I had was the development of an abscess under the incision. They opened the bottom half of the incision, & I have to change the packing every day until it closes, which I was told yesterday takes 8 to 12 weeks. I can't work with an open & draining abdominal wound.

I am on leave for an extended period of time. I will reach out when I have a better idea of a return to work date. I'm so sorry.

Good morning, Friends. A quick update.

I've had a set back with a post op complication.
My Dad is not doing well, & will be transferred to VCU in Richmond within the next few days.

Both of these things may impact my return to work date. I'll update my clients as I know more. If you declined a referral, & change your mind, please reach out to me. As always, your patience & understanding are deeply appreciated.
