RENEWING YOUR MIND
When our thoughts run unchecked, they often drift toward problems—looping endlessly and draining our energy. In that cycle, we can lose sight of the Lord.

A renewed mind is Presence-focused. Train your thoughts to seek Him in everyday moments and circumstance. Sometimes He meets you in the beauty around you—a bird’s song, a smile, warm sunlight. Other times, you find Him by turning inward, where He is always present in your spirit. Seek His face. Speak with Him. He will bring light to your mind.

“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind…” — Romans 12:2
“Look to the Lord and His strength; seek His face always.” — Psalm 105:4

We just celebrated the birthday of the embodiment of love, Jesus. When going through anything good or bad, remember to look to Him. HE is the (only) Way, Truth, and Life.

When hard times come I wish I could say that I always trust the Lord completely, but often I am filled with doubt and have little tolerance or patience when facing the unknown. I defintely have room for my faith to grow. In Luke 17:5-10, Jesus reminds us that even a small amount of faith is enough because the size of our faith isn’t the issue. It’s the lack of acceptance or patience for uncertainty when God doesn’t let you in on what He is doing on your behalf.

When facing hard things I have to remind myself that I have enough faith and that God is able and willing to work all things for my good (Romans 8:28). I just need to be patient with the uncertainty of not knowing when, where, or how He will provide = walking by faith not sight (2 Corinthians 5:7).

The Bible explicitly states the command to "speak the truth in love" (Ephesians 4:15). I realize I’ve at times chosen silence to avoid conflict even when truth is distorted and redefined to fit with another’s viewpoint or personal comfort. God’s Word convicts me that there is only one truth, and Jesus tells us He is the Truth (John 14:1-7). Because of this, God calls us to pay attention and be willing to speak when needed—but always with care. Our words, whether correcting, teaching, encouraging, or comforting, must be delivered with LOVE and aimed at the other person's spiritual growth, building them up like Christ.

We usually believe our thoughts.

Our interpretation of our experiences is shaped by our past experiences, values, and beliefs, giving us our point of view, but our perception of reality may not be accurate, reasonable, and can hurt us and others.

2 Corinthians 10:5 “We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ."

Taking every thought captive requires examining our thinking before accepting it as truth that aligns with God's perspective. You can start by praying 2 Cor. 10:5.❤️

I have been asked how to hide God’s Word in your ❤️ (Psalm 119:11)

My best answer:

Read Scripture daily—and read it slowly. Let it sink in and become part of your thoughts. Memorize it bit by bit: phrases, sentences, then verses.

Pray as you read:
•Thank God for what is good.
•Ask for His help to obey His commands.
•Give Him continual thanks.
•Seek His conviction, forgiveness, &
strength to change when He reveals sin.

Make prayer a continual 2-way conversation you have with God throughout the day.

Philippians 2:13 reveals that God works in believers. If you stop and think about that….God needs no one, but when faith is present, HE works through anyone.

A lot of us are going through situations that seem overwhelming. I encourage you as someone encouraged me to ask God “WHO are YOU in my situation?” You’re then responding to WHO God is in your situation and not the situation itself and the Holy Spirit will then be the one to respond to whatever is going on through you. You can rest in Him!

We were created to replace the whys with the WHO❤️

So much is going on in this country and the world right now that is heartbreaking and have people divided, but when I pray about these things and seek the Holy Spirit’s voice, HE tells me not to lean on my own understanding but into Him. HE tells me that HE desires for me to be righteous over being right, and HE tells me it is not my job to change people’s hearts and minds. It is HIS job. HE can use me to do HIS work, but I am to work for HIM and not be self-employed. Lord, help me be righteous and lean into you and not on my own understanding!
