So much is going on in this country and the world right now that is heartbreaking and have people divided, but when I pray about these things and seek the Holy Spirit’s voice, HE tells me not to lean on my own understanding but into Him. HE tells me that HE desires for me to be righteous over being right, and HE tells me it is not my job to change people’s hearts and minds. It is HIS job. HE can use me to do HIS work, but I am to work for HIM and not be self-employed. Lord, help me be righteous and lean into you and not on my own understanding!

Today, my reading was on the fear of the Lord. Being afraid of the Lord and having the fear of God can be confusing until you read verses like Psalm 27:1 and 25:14. These verses show a God who wants to draw you closer and to walk together through life. "Holy fear is not to be scared of God and thereby withdraw from Him. It is to be terrified of being away from Him". - John Bevere "The Awe of God"

Lately I have been meeting with many young women who feel trapped and who are struggling with fear, anxiety, shame, and confusion about who they are and how God views them. They desperately need their eyes, ears and heart open to the truth that, if they are God’s child, then they are not condemned but oh so loved and treasured, that they were created specifically because He delighted to do so and wanted to have them be a part of His plan. Pray for these young women (and I am sure there are many young men who need prayer as well). Pray His Words of truth about them back to our Lord! Join me in praying for these young people. Even one prayer after reading this will make a huge difference! Be a part of recovering the ground the enemy has taken in the hearts and minds of these young adults! I’m praising the Lord in advance for what He will do with even one prayer! Amen
