👀 Check out the progress on the new mural Horizon, HYPE Club, and the Su***de Prevention Awareness Coalition have been working on today!

The new mural was designed by HYPE Club high school students to raise positivity around youth mental health and substance use prevention. It is located at Hughes Supply located at 1415 Park Avenue in Lynchburg.

Thanks to everyone who has stopped by to help us paint! Stay tuned for photos of the finished product.

Registration is now open for the 4th Annual RIDE OF OUR LIVES! 🏍️ 💚

In honor of National Su***de Prevention Month in September, Horizon Behavioral Health is sponsoring its fourth annual benefit motorcycle ride & rally on Saturday, September 13th, 2025, in partnership with Harley-Davidson of Lynchburg, the Central Virginia Su***de Prevention Awareness Coalition, the Combat Vets Association, and Lock & Talk Virginia.

Don't ride? - Don't worry! There will be plenty for you to take part in at the finish line. The rally will take place at our Horizon Wellness Center at Langhorne beginning at 12:00 pm where there will be food, music, speakers, and more waiting for riders, their families, and the community!

For the first time, Jeeps are also welcome to join in on the ride! Registered Jeep drivers will follow the motorcyclists on the route. Due to space restrictions, all Jeep drivers must register in advance. Please note, parking will be limited at the start point and at the rally following the ride.

This event is FREE to participate. Cash donations are welcome! All proceeds go to the Su***de Prevention Awareness Coalition of Central Virginia.

🖌️Mural Painting THIS Thursday 🎨

Join Horizon, HYPE Club, and the Su***de Prevention Awareness Coalition for the painting of a new mural to raise positivity around youth mental health and substance use prevention!

Youth age 18 and under are welcome to come help paint from 9 AM - 6 PM on July 24 at Hughes Supply located at 1415 Park Avenue in Lynchburg.

Happy Independence Day from Horizon! 🎆

Our offices will be closed today, Friday, July 4th to allow our staff to enjoy this occasion with their families. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to resuming our services after this holiday break.

Residential programs that provide 24/7 services will continue to operate regardless of the closure. We will reopen on Monday, July 7th, at 8:30am.
