Greg Hansbrough's Living Liver Donor Quest

Gregory Hansbrough had (MASH) and was in need of a living liver donor. God answered our prayers by sending an anonymous donor who gave the gift of life.

Transplant date: Feb 10, 2026. We praise God for all of the people that have prayed and believed.

John 15:7 (NIV): "If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you."

Nine weeks post-liver transplant and first time driving. Dr visit went well yesterday praise God. Kidneys are continuing to make progress. Liver numbers are outstanding!!!

We give God all the praise. Thank you to everyone for praying!! Keep praying for those kidneys and for continued strength.

April is National Donate Life Month. Thank you to all the organ donors and their families for making the sacrifice to save another life or lives. We thank God for our Liver Donor everyday. God bless everyone and keep Greg in your prayers. He is making progress each day.

“But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”

Greg walking with therapist today (using his Mom’s old walker) Kidney numbers are continuing to improve. Please continue to pray and thank you Jesus.

Praise God. What a blessing to see Greg putting together his medicine cart with Tasha. Lots of medication. Doctor visit went well yesterday just needed to adjust some medication. Thank you Jesus for all your blessings. Please continue to pray. Kidneys are still making progress! God bless!!!

I will not die but live, and will proclaim what the Lord has done. Psalm 118:17 after 44 days of being in the hospital for liver transplant Greg is home! Praise the Lord. His kidneys are slowly waking up. He is off the feeding tube as you can see. He still needs prayer for no additional problems, kidneys to fully wake up and complete healing. We want to say thank you to everyone for all of the prayers —-prayer changes things. We can’t say Thank you enough for praying for us, following our page (journey), visits, gifts fundraising donations, handing out flyers, videos, sharing our post, text messages, the list goes on and on. This would not have happened without our wonderful liver donor please continue to pray for our liver donor and Greg. God bless!! Thumbs 👍 up! “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes.” We have placed over 400 Little Jesus everywhere! We hear Jesus is everywhere and he sure is!! You can buy these on Amazon so great idea for everyone to buy and spread Jesus! Keep praying for Greg.

Thumbs Up! Surgery to remove the hematoma around the stomach/kidney was a success! Please continue to pray for no more bleeds and wake up kidneys in the name of Jesus! Thank you to everyone that is continuing to pray for Greg and the family.

Update: 12:55 pm surgery went well they removed hematoma and 2.5 liters of old blood. Please continue to pray for no more blood bleeds and wake up kidneys. He will be in recovery for 2-3 hours. Thank you for praying.

Pray for Greg (TOPPDOG)!!! They are surgically removing a hematoma(s) hopefully today. This is causing him a lot of discomfort since pressing on stomach. As he said…never give up! Longer recovery than what we expected, however We know God will get Greg through the surgery and restore his kidneys soon! Thank you for praying!

Greg is doing dialysis…wake up Kidneys!!! The internal bleeding has stopped ..thank you Jesus!!!! Our prayer towel that was given to us we were told sleep with this for four nights - On day four is when the bleeding stopped. We serve a powerful God. Bible verse for today. Psalms 118 :17 (I will not die but live, and will proclaim what the Lord has done). Thank you for all the prayers, cards and phone calls. Notice the Thumbs Up. Haha. He is keeping the faith.
