I always like to Kick off a new season with a fresh start! 🍃 This Winter, in lieu of the more intense detoxes or cleanses I've done, I listened to my body and opted for a gentler approach, because that's what I need this season.

Did you know that I do more than just holistic Nutrition and Reiki?🙌

I've got some wonderful events coming up this year that I'm really looking forward too.

-Reiki attunement classes.
-We've got a few Reiki shares coming up this year (free reiki anyone?).
-A beginners basket weaving class.
-An herbal preparations class (for those of you interested in learning how to stock your own herbal medicine cabinet with your own prepared herbal remedies).
-A new, fun class I'm trying in the fall. Weave your own cornucopia!

I am also planning a 3-month Women's Weight loss Initiative for the summer.

It's going to be a fun and busy year.

I know many of us look to the new year with renewed motivation.
"This is a NEW year. This is THE year. I'm finally going to (insert goal here)."

While many just see the new year as a continuation of the previous year. It doesn't really feel like a new beginning. There's no inspiring feeling to better yourself. No drive to make THIS the moment you decide to make a change.

Of course there are many others who feel somewhere in between or around there also.

Whichever group you belong to, know that you're awesome 🌠. You're out there doing the best you can with what you have and I'm here for it.

To all. May 2025 be better than last year. May it be your BEST year.

A yummy healthy dessert recipe for the holidays.

Avocado Chocolate Mousse

A rich and creamy dessert that's surprisingly healthy!

Ingredients:
* 2 ripe avocados
* 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
* 1/4 cup maple syrup
* 1/4 cup coconut milk
* 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
* Pinch of salt
Instructions:
* Prep the avocado: Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop out the flesh into a bowl.
* Combine ingredients: Add the cocoa powder, maple syrup, coconut milk, vanilla extract, and salt to the avocado.
* Blend: Use a blender or food processor to blend the mixture until smooth and creamy.
* Chill and serve: Transfer the mousse to individual serving bowls and chill for at least 2 hours, or overnight, for a firmer consistency. Serve chilled, topped with fresh berries, nuts, or a drizzle of chocolate sauce.
Tips:
* For a richer flavor: Add a tablespoon of melted dark chocolate.
* For a lighter texture: Use a milk frother to whip the coconut milk before adding it to the mixture.
* For a healthier twist: Use a natural sweetener like honey or agave nectar.
