KEEP THAT TREE! (Just for another week)
Due to the potential of slick roads, wind, and otherwise messy weather Saturday (tomorrow) morning, Boy Scout Troop 4028 is pushing back their annual Lynden Slightly Used Christmas Tree Pick-up and Disposal until next week, January 15th, to keep the youngsters and their helpers safe and sound.
Also just a guess on our part, but we are unaware of any "I chased a dead tree blowing into traffic on an icy road and survived" badge. Safety first!
