UNETE Foundation Passaic reaffirms its commitment to community well-being through a self-care workshop for women held on the morning of Tuesday, April 23.
The session was led by our Director of Mental Health, psychologist Iris Ramos, who provided practical tools to support personal care and emotional wellness.
We extend our sincere gratitude to all participants and to those whose support makes it possible for us to continue expanding access to health for all.

On Saturday, April 18, at UNETE Passaic, we carried out our first cervical cancer prevention day, during which free Pap smear screenings were provided to women from minority communities.

This effort is made possible thanks to the support of philanthropists, businesses that share the belief that access to healthcare must be a reality for everyone.

La mañana de este martes 14 de abril, nuestra presidenta, la Dra. Irma Hernández, dio la bienvenida a la comisionada del condado de Passaic, Christina Schratz, y a Mónica Vanegas, Financial Center Manager de Spencer Savings Bank, durante una visita institucional en la sede de la organización en Passaic.
En el marco de esta visita institucional, las representantes sostuvieron un encuentro en el que pudieron conocer de manera directa la misión, visión y líneas de acción que orientan la labor de UNETE Foundation, así como el alcance de sus programas en beneficio de la comunidad.

💗 La detección temprana salva vidas 💗
Este 27 de marzo, la comunidad de Paterson, NJ tendrá acceso a un mamógrafo móvil, donde se ofrecerán mamografías completamente gratuitas para personas que no cuentan con seguro médico.
Esta importante jornada es posible gracias a Unete Foundation, en colaboración con CDI de Hackensack Meridian Health y el Consulado de la República Dominicana en New Jersey, a través del programa NJCEED, reafirmando su compromiso con la prevención, el acceso equitativo a la salud y el bienestar de nuestra comunidad.

On March 27, the Paterson, NJ community will have access to a mobile mammography unit, offering completely free mammograms for individuals without health insurance.
