Sensitive teeth can happen when your enamel (the protective outer layer of your teeth) wears down, it can expose the softer, more sensitive layer underneath — called dentin.

Common causes of exposed dentin include:

🔹 Cracked or fractured teeth
🔹 Tooth decay
