Alison Fitz-Gerald, PT, DPT, is the Director of Home Care Services at SportsMed Physical Therapy and a proud Ithaca College DPT alum. She is dedicated to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care in the comfort of each individual’s home, specializing in personalized, one-on-one therapy that improves functionality, increases independence, and enhances safety with activities of daily living.
In her leadership role, Alison not only treats patients but also oversees and mentors a team of therapists who share her commitment to high-quality, individualized care. Beyond the clinic, she serves as an adjunct instructor in the Rutgers University Graduate Physical Therapy Program, where she teaches second-year students in the Neurologic PT course. Recently, she shared her passion for vestibular rehabilitation by delivering a lecture and leading a hands-on lab, helping shape the next generation of physical therapists.
Alison’s blend of hands-on care, leadership, and education reflects her deep commitment to advancing both patient outcomes and the physical therapy profession.
