BIG NEWS!

I’ve made the very BIG, thoughtful and bittersweet decision to sell Smash Box.

Thank you to every single one of you that has supported my Smash Box journey. To making boxes out of my tiny kitchen to 200 people grazing tables ... it was a wild ride. Literal blood, sweat, and lots of tears. But, SO many good memories, lessons learned, and friendships made.

Making the decision to sell Smash Box has been very bittersweet. I know that is the right move for me, my family, and the brand. I am so excited for the new owners and I am confident you will show them the same love and support you have shown me. By Monday they’ll have their hands on all the socials, website, and Smash intel.

I’m not totally sure what’s next for me besides giving myself the time and space to do nothing (at for at least a little while) 🙃

Smash Box has curated the perfect basket to grab for a Date Night, gift for Galentine’s or to snag for yourself for a solo night in. Plus, it is all packaged with L-O-V-E in the cutest throwback jelly basket.

PLUS all proceeds will go directly to the Bertie + Mavis fund; the daughters of Boo (Rebbeca) Simms of Lady & Larder.

MORE ON WHY: The sisters of Lady & Larder have been an inspiration to me since I started my cheese business. I love/loved everything about their design, aesthetic, and creativity. Visiting their Santa Monica shop was the highlight of one my trips to LA. The store was a total dream. Boo was behind so much of that.

A couple of weeks ago, she lost her life due to a tragic surgery complication. Boo leaves behind two little ones, Bertie and Mavis. My heart goes out to this family, all that loved her and those little girls. With your help, I would love to donate the proceeds from these orders directly to the fund set up for the girls as they navigate life with out their Mom.
