I had the opportunity to speak directly with our Governor Bob Ferguson yesterday at our weekly Sunrise Rotary meeting. I was able to directly ask him to please consider keeping the Meaningful day program for Dementia and Alzheimers patients on Medicaid living in an adult family home in our state. This benefit allows our vulnerable loved ones with Dementia and Alzheimer's a higher rate paid for their care needs in an adult family home when they are on Medicaid. These vulnerable adults as well as our States children should be exactly where our Medicaid dollars are spent and cut the fat from the people who might actually be able to work and advocate for themselves instead.

Happy case managers week! Headed out tomorrow and Thursday with over 300 snacks for our local case managers and social workers!! A lot of time and love went into these and we can't wait to share them!!
