PEACE OF MIND COUNSELING SERVICES

My therapy dog, Ari, and I have been working with teens the last 8 years; 5 of those years providing intervention and prevention services in a high school setting. Although I specialize in substance abuse, I find that many times teens want someone who will not prejudge them and is willing to listen and value what they have to say. I enjoy working with teens and I am able to develop a strong connection with them. Many have told me I was easy to talk to and that I was one of the few adults who would listen and not try to change them. I am a National Certified Addiction Counselor from the National Association of Addiction Professionals and am finishing my Masters in Mental Health Counseling degree. I am a state certified Alcohol/Drug Information School Instructor and teach a 4 hour alcohol/drug information class. I am also available to speak or make presentations on teen substance abuse, ma*****na and teens, how to get along with your teen, and teen wellness. I cover the South and East Snohomish county including Lake Stevens and Granite Falls. I take private pay, sliding scale and soon credit card/debit card payments.
