If there’s one thing we’d say about Country Living, it’s that we love welcoming visitors, sharing laughter, and enjoying all kinds of entertainment together. Yesterday, we had the pleasure of welcoming our newest resident, with sweet treats and even sweeter conversation. We spent the afternoon on the patio getting to know her, sharing stories, laughs, and making new memories already.

Thank you to everyone who took time to come celebrate Mother’s Day with us at Country Living.

To our moms, grandmas, bonus moms, and mother figures… thank you for the love you continue to pour into the world every single day. Your strength, kindness, wisdom, and stubbornness 😉 are part of what makes this place feel like home.

Cinco de Mayo — here’s another reason to party! 🎉

Our residents were so thankful to spend time with the Lyons High School Forensics Team today. We got to listen to some incredibly talented kiddos share their skills, and then they joined us for a little piñata fun!

Margaritas, lemonade, candy, entertainment, and great company… what more could you ask for in one day? 🌮🍋🍬

It’s hard to say if it was the great food or even better company—but I’m guessing a little of both. There’s something truly heartwarming about a team willing to give their time so that everyone who wants to go, gets to go.

Today we loaded up—six on the city bus and six in my minivan—and headed to Casual Corner for lunch.

Thank you, Casual Corner, for the excellent meal and wonderful service! And a big thank you to Lindy and Breanna for coming in on your day off just to spend time with us—your kindness and dedication doesn’t go unnoticed.

Peep the picture—these ladies were so excited for our outing they were sitting in laps just waiting for the ride to arrive. Moments like this are what it’s all about.

Safe to say, Les knows how to celebrate right. We’re pretty sure being the only guy around makes it easy to feel a little extra spoiled — and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

When your daily exercise starts bringing folks in from the community, you know you’re doing something right.

We are so thankful for Susan—whether she’s joining us for a little movement, sharing the gospel, or just bringing that steady joy that seems to follow her wherever she goes. Around here (carpet or no carpet), she’s more than a visitor… she’s part of us.
