Welcome back – Crystal S! Crystal has joined the Baker Rural Health Clinic as one of our Nurse Practitioners. Crystal’s health care career journey began in 2003 upon completion of the CNA program offered at Baker County High School. She began working as a CNA here at Frank Wells Nursing Home while she completed her studies and was later accepted into the nursing program at Lake City Community College. After graduating from Nursing school, she landed her dream job as an Emergency Room nurse at Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville. After gaining several years of experience, Crystal decided to return to work as needed in the ER at Ed Fraser to serve the local community where she grew up. Crystal has over 21 years of experience in healthcare and fourteen of those years have been as an employee with Baker County Medical Services. She obtained her BSN and MSN/Family Nurse Practitioner degrees at Western Governors University. She also previously worked at Minute Clinic as an FNP.

Crystal grew up here in Baker County and has been married to her best friend, Josh, for the last 14 years. They share two beautiful children together, Hunter and Adalyn.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with my family, hunting, traveling, and shopping online!
