Happy Mother’s Day❣️
A very special thank you to Brody’s Flowers for helping make such a special Morher’s Day event for our residents 🥰

(from Brody’s mama): Brody's Flowers came to be in memory of Brody Austin (forever 19), who believed that every mother deserves flowers for Mother's Day. Brody thought it was very sad that so many in care facilities didn't get visitors, let alone flowers, and therefore decided to collect money to provide potted geraniums to all the ladies in our local nursing home.

Brody sadly passed away in April of 2015 and his family now carries on his dream, in his memory.

Brody was an amazing kid with charm, wit, and a massive heart; so massive that he became an organ, eye, and tissue donor. He saved 6 lives with organs, gave sight to 2 with his corneas, and improved the lives of over 90 people with tissues and bone donations, including his older sister.

Brody's Flowers relies on donations from the public, as well as volunteers to hand deliver beautiful potted flowers to ladies in care facilities and provide realistic baby dolls to those in memory care.

We couldn't do this without you!

On this Veterans Day, and all days, we honor all who have served and sacrificed for our country and freedom. We especially want to honor and express gratitude for our 9 veteran residents who have served in WWII, Korea, Vietnam and had a career spanning 30 years (collectively over 70 years of service combined)!

Please check out Brody’s Flowers to read the story about this wonderful young man, whose life was cut far too short. His mother started an organization in honor of his memory, where they deliver flowers to nursing homes and assisted living, as well as lifelike dolls to memory care! They blessed our residents with beautiful dahlias and daisys🌻🌺🌸🌼
