It's not to late for your flu shot.
Vaccination remains the most effective way to reduce the risk of severe illness by influenza.
We are offering flu shots M, Tu, Th, Fri
10-2:30. No appointment necessary.

Due to inclement weather, all non-essential services at Mackinac Straits Health System will be closed on Monday, December 29, 2025.

🚨 Emergency and essential hospital services will remain open and operational.

All clinic appointments have been canceled including:
• Mackinaw City
• Mackinac Island
• St. Ignace
• Rivertown Medical Cheboygan

Straits Area Pharmacy will have limited hours from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm on Monday, December 29, 2025.

Patients with appointments for affected services will be contacted to reschedule. Thank you for your understanding as we prioritize the safety of our patients, visitors, and staff.

Due to the upcoming weather clinic will be CLOSED MONDAY, DECEMBER 29
**The Emergency Department never closes, call 911 or press the red button on the front of the building, you will talk to a dispatcher. Staff will be paged in to help you. You can get an ambulance by calling 911 and requesting assistance where you are.

This "good boy" that's with Santa is Conor.
We have been blessed to have him come work registration with us since last May.
Today is his last day until May 2026.
We sure are gonna miss him!!
He's so funny, kind, our friend and we all just love him♡
