It’s been a minute friends!

Social media took a bit of a back seat this summer with tons of play group time, 1:1s and a pivot into exciting opportunities for Rooted to reach more children. We are so excited to see where this new year takes us!

In the meantime, both Steph and Kate graduated with their degrees. Steph achieved her DrOT and was able to present her years of research on the effects of outdoor connection on school engagement for children with ADHD. Can’t wait to share more on that soon! 🌲 🏫

Our Kate graduated with her Masters of OT and is off to fieldwork in a couple weeks, we will miss her so much! This one is going places, people!👏🏻

As we rest until the new year, plans are waiting on baby Vaughn to arrive any day and reflect on the coming year for Rooted, thank you all for support and love. ❤️

We found a ladder tree at camp this week! Campers decided they were up for a longer trek and were rewarded by a new motor challenge. Check out that proud face 🌳

Happy summer, we are excited to get nature groups started in a couple weeks!

We have had a last minute opening come available for the 3-4 year old group. Reminder that sessions are from 10:30-noon on Wednesdays starting June 22. Message me if interested!

Registration is open for Rooted in OT Summer Play Groups! 🌳🌳

☀️ Groups are limited to 6 children per age group, offering between ages 3-12. Led by a pediatric occupational therapist and open to children of all abilities. Each group will include free play, group activities, social time, and snack 🥨🍎

Teen groups will be offered if interest!

Cost: $200 for all six sessions
