Not all massages are the same.
A relaxation massage may be perfect when your body needs a reset, but other techniques are designed for more specific needs. Deep tissue, trigger point work, myofascial release, hot stone therapy, reflexology, or lymphatic drainage may each be used depending on what your body is dealing with.
That is why communication matters.
Before and during your session, let your massage therapist know what you are feeling, where you are tight, and whether the pressure feels right. A good massage should be tailored to you - not treated like a one-size-fits-all service.
