THERE’S A NEW NAME GETTING SERIOUS ATTENTION IN AESTHETICS: We keep getting calls asking if we offer the new synthetic ARIESSENCE PDGF+ (Short for Platelet-Derived Growth Factor PLUS)

In aesthetics, PDGF is quickly becoming the most talked-about in regenerative treatments. There are 2 options to choose from when it comes to PDGF. You can use your own PDGF through a blood draw ( commonly known as PRP or PRF), which is the safest and most accurate way to deliver youthful cell signals..OR, now you can ask for synthetic ( lab made) PDRF+. ( PDRF PLUS).

Now… Some see this synthetic approach as the next major innovation, but here at Gorgeous Glow we say it’s too early to know.

Synthetic PDGF+ uses a recombinant (lab-made) version of PDGF that is bioidentical to the one produced naturally by the human body. It’s manufactured under pharmaceutical conditions, sterile, free of preservatives, and contains NO human or animal tissue. WHAT! You’re getting PLANT JUICE! Why not simply use your OWN growth factor from your OWN DNA???

Soooo, ARE WE OFFERING IT YET?

Not yet—and for good reason.

PDGF + is still extremely new to aesthetics. While we’re excited by its potential and encouraged by the science behind it, we feel a responsibility to proceed with care. At this stage, only a small number of clinics in the country are using PDGF+ as an injectable—and most of them only began offering it in the past few weeks to months. We’re following the data closely, especially around safety and outcomes. We may feel comfortable offering it sooner as a topical post-treatment add-on, where it’s already being used more widely. But when it comes to injections, we’re taking a watch-and-wait approach.
If and when the results and safety data align with our standards, we’ll be ready to bring it in as part of our practice.

You guys…Regenerative medicine is one of the most exciting frontiers in aesthetics—and growth factors are right at the center of it. For now, we’re not offering synthetic PDGF+ based treatments. We feel strongly that within your OWN DNA , YOU hold all the magic needed to turn back the clock. We are sticking with what has been clinically proven to work, with years of research behind it . But, we’re watching, learning, and evaluating it with a clear eye and high standards. If and when we’re ready to introduce it, it will be because we’ve seen the data, reviewed the results, and believe it’s truly worth your time and trust.

Over-exfoliating? If your skin feels tight, shiny, or stingy—it might be begging for a break! 🧼 Less can be more.

Depending on your skin and the strength of your exfoliator, you only need to exfoliate 1-3x a week. Try alternating between a physical scrub and a chemical exfoliant like glycolic acid or salicylic (on different days!). This helps avoid irritation while still supporting cell turnover and glow. 💖
