MIH is looking for a friendly, dependable, and team-oriented Front Desk Assistant to join our growing practice! This role is perfect for someone who enjoys helping others, staying organized, and creating a welcoming environment for patients.
MIH values teamwork, positivity, and a willingness to jump in where needed to help the day run smoothly. I am looking for someone who works well with others, communicates clearly, and takes pride in providing excellent patient care and customer service. I also like to have fun—so bringing good energy and a positive attitude is a must!
Responsibilities:
• Greet patients warmly and create a welcoming office environment
• Check patients in and out efficiently
• Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with questions or scheduling needs and other general office communication
• Check and respond to office emails as needed
• Manage incoming and outgoing faxes
• Enter new patient information into the electronic health record (EHR) and pharmacy databases and assist with patient records as needed
• Assist with medical scribing when needed
• Help maintain smooth daily office operations
• Perform other duties as requested to support the team and business needs
• Be willing to engage in office social media content and occasionally participate in Instagram reels and other fun team marketing efforts
Qualifications:
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Friendly, professional, and positive attitude
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Team player mentality—willingness to help wherever needed
• Must be comfortable being part of a fun, team-focused environment
• Customer service experience is a huge plus
• Healthcare experience is a huge plus, but not required
Schedule:
• No weekends
• No on-call responsibilities
• Hours set according to posted business hours
• Some flexibility for earlier or later shifts as needed and available
Pay & Benefits:
• Starting pay at $18/hour
• Performance review after 90 days with opportunity for raise based on performance
• Scrubs provided to wear to work
