Not the greatest before and after I've ever taken but you can clearly see the softening through his rib cage, top line and butt. This poor guy has alot going on but we are on our way to fixing it.

A very good friend & farrier asked me one time, "What makes you so different? Figure that out and stick to it!"
It didn't take me long to figure it out. It honestly took me longer on how to word it, so here it goes 😊.
I believe "there is more than one way to skin a cat" or horse in this case, lol. What works for one horse might not work for the next horse, and that is why I keep learning. Why I use different tools/equipment in my massages, why I use different techniques, why I look at these horses from not only a massage therapist brain but also a horse trainer brain.
This past week, I finished yet another massage course so I can take what I've already learned and smash it together with an even better understanding of what our horses need.
I love broadening my knowledge, I love working with the amazing team at , and I love helping horses.

I will be headed home to northeastern Colorado (Yuma Co) for a couple of weeks and would love to see your horse. It's that time of year again, everyone is getting their horses back in shape and are ready for warmer weather.

I need your feedback! As I'm trying to put this on, it doesn't seem like anyone is interested in it, and I do not want to waste any businesses time showing up for no one. So before I continue trying to find people for this wellness clinic, I need you to tell me if you plan on attending or not. It's almost time to start thinking about legging those horses back up from sitting all winter.
Something to start thinking about is how you are going to bring your horses back to being in shape. Coming up with a workout regiment and routine therapies can help them come back quicker and stronger.
Starting out slow, working on groundwork, round pen work, and stretching before you jump right back in the saddle can help reduce the chance of your horses getting sore.
Also, utilizing chiropractors, bodyworkers, and even dentistry this spring will help set your horse up for a good year. I am setting up a one-stop shop for all these things in April in Oklahoma. Check out the events tab on my page!

Don't scroll if you get queasy easily.
This is the difference between 3 redlight sessions. Not even consecutive sessions either. Swelling has gone down, healing has been accelerated, and pain has been made more manageable, so he has his appetite back.
I swear redlight therapy is a must to help heal our bodies. Message me to see if your horse could benefit from red light.

Just because a horse needs routine bodywork or chiropractic, doesn’t mean something is wrong with them…

It’s called WELLNESS. Talk to any big athlete, and I’d bet money that they have the following…
✔️nutritionist
✔️chiropractor
✔️massage therapist
✔️physical therapist
✔️health coach / personal trainer

Just to name a few. We need to stop seeing the horse as something is wrong with them when they need supportive care to continue doing what we ask of them (most of which is entirely unnatural to them and biomechanics).

Yes you did. You just didn’t know any better. Or maybe it just wasn’t as easily accessible as it is now. Now you know better, so you can do better. It’s as simple as that.

When you’re shopping around for a horse and see that their maintenance care includes chiropractic or bodywork, I hope that excites you and makes you realize they have been well loved, and their health & wellness is maximized.

If you haven't already, this is your reminder to make sure you worm your horses for bot fly eggs. Fall worming should be Ivermectin w/ Praziquantel (Equimax®, Zimectrin Gold®) or Moxidectin with Praziquantel (Quest Plus®) will be effective.
Did you know parasite inside of the horse that attach themselves to the glandular part of the stomach can actually cause colic!? So make sure you are deworming your horse after the first frost to get rid of them.
