Extreme heat comes with increased UV levels, since there are fewer clouds blocking sun exposure, and changes in behavior. When it's hot out, many of us forgo protective clothing to keep us cool or don't realize we should be reapplying sunscreen more often than normal, since we're probably sweating more too.
