The spotlight employee for February is Latonya Callaway. She was born and raised in Macon GA. Latonya is a wonderful mother of three. She has two sons and one daughter. Latonya enjoys working with seniors. She takes pride in her work and doesn’t mind helping her co-workers. When Latonya isn’t working, she loves to travel and spend time with her family and friends. A few words to describe Latonya are loving, caring, and energetic. Latonya works the second shift when you stop by the Prado, be sure to say congratulations! She’ll welcome you with a warm smile and green tea in her hand.

Our spotlight resident for February is James Darrah. He was born on August 31,1953 to James F. Darrah and Ellen Sullivan Darrah. He attended Forrest Senior High School.
Mr. Darrah retired from Jacksonville Electrical Authority after working 37 long dedicated years. He enjoys corn hole, fishing, and baseball. Mr. Darrah is such a very caring individual. He is a true social butterfly. Mr. James is loved by his lovely wife and family.

The spotlight employee for January is Sheila Simmons. She was born in Macon, GA on March 19,1968. Mrs. Sheila enjoys spending time with her family and friends when she isn’t working. Her passion for taking care of others is what makes her a wonderful caregiver. Sheila is a great team player who doesn’t mind helping any of her colleagues. The Prado is honored to have Sheila a part of the team family.

Our spotlight resident for January is Deloris Reeves. She was born on December 12,1944 to Clarence and Mattie Chambliss. Mrs. Deloris attended Ballard High School in Macon, Georgia. Mrs. Reeves was married to the late Pastor Leroy Reeves Jr. They pastored at Center Hill Baptist Church for several years. Mrs. Deloris retired from Warner Robins Air Force Base after 33 years of hard work and dedication. Mrs. Reeves is a loving mother, grandmother and friend. She enjoys bingo, movies, painting and bible study.

Come join us for “A Peek at the Prado” open house on Saturday, January 11th from 12p-3pm. We will be offering tours, information on dementia care, and light refreshments! This is a walk in event, so no appointment is required. We look forward to seeing you there!
