Did you know November is Lung Cancer Awareness Month? Lung cancer (both NSCLC and SCLC) is the second most common cancer in both men and women, not counting skin cancer. Lung cancer mainly occurs in older people; the average age at diagnosis is about 70. Smoking increases the risk for lung cancer.
