Join us tomorrow at 4:30pm in Washington Park for a trauma-sensitive yoga session! 🌱

We hope that parents and caregivers are able to bring their children. We will have engaging activities for them including kindness coloring books, breathing practices using balloons and bubbles, and we’ll have some giveaways!

We are partnering with Maria Andrade at ABC Breathe to host this session as a way to help children and their families to develop important life skills like building self-awareness, self-regulation, and effective emotional communication. This is also a great way to bring together members of our community, create connections, and build our individual and community resilience!

🎉 IT’S BACK 🎉 With the weather warming up, we are so excited for the return of KIDS YOGA CLUB with Maria Andrade 🙌🤸‍♀️❤️ Beginning NEXT TUESDAY (4/18) AT 5:30PM in MACON, your little yogi can enjoy an hour of fresh air, mindfulness, movement + play in our outdoor yoga studio (while you enjoy some indoor yoga or just an hour to do as you please!)

Designed for children ages 6+, this class explores yoga through movement, games, and breathing exercises in a fun and relaxed environment. This outdoor Kids Yoga class will run alongside Breath + Body Flow on Tuesdays at 5:30pm (an all-levels Flow class for us big kids in our indoor studio!)

Kids Yoga Club is 6 week series: register your child for any single class (or classes) OR commit to the entire 6 week series for a discounted rate of $60/child. Drop-ins are $12/child or $10 if an adult is attending Breath + Body Flow.

Please share this amazing opportunity with your community! Homegrown Yoga

Reason one million and one that we have THE GREATEST humans ever in our yoga community🫶 Recognizing a need for more Kids Yoga teachers in middle Georgia, Maria Andrade of ABC Breathe is launching an ABC BREATHE SCHOLARSHIP for one person interested in enrolling in Homegrown’s 200 Hour Teacher Training with the goal of offering Kids Yoga in our area.

What are the requirements? Lead 20 hours of Kids Yoga instruction within one year of graduating from teacher training. During teacher training, offer at least 5 hours of service as an unpaid intern with ABC Breathe. And within one year of graduating, enroll in a continuing education program geared towards Kids Yoga.

What you’ll earn? An $800 scholarship from ABC Breathe and a matching scholarship of $800 from Homegrown Yoga ($1600 total); an invaluable internship + mentoring opportunity with Maria; AND the start to a seriously powerful teaching career.
