We’re proud to honor our incredible sonographers Hannah, Logan, and Megan, each of whom brings exceptional skill and compassion to every scan they perform. And their superpower? They see with sound! 😱

These ladies are trained and registered across multiple specialties within ultrasound imaging, including vascular, general, pediatrics, and OB/GYN, allowing VIRA to provide care for patients of all ages and needs across Middle Georgia! ♥️

What is venous reflux? Venous reflux, or chronic venous insufficiency, occurs when the valves in the leg veins stop working correctly. Instead of pushing blood upward toward the heart, the faulty valves allow blood to flow backward and pool in the veins. This pooling raises pressure in the veins and causes swelling, aching, and varicose veins. In more serious cases, it can lead to skin damage and ulcers.
