Today is the day: we’re live!

We officially launched our new patient system today, and we could not be more excited or grateful for the patience you’ve shown us up to this moment.

Here’s what happens next:

→ Watch for your patient portal invitation by email or text — enrollment takes about 2 minutes
→ At your next visit, your paperwork can be completed at home in advance — we’ll send you a link before you arrive
→ Ask about our secure card-on-file option — your co-pay, coinsurance, and balance handled automatically through a one-time setup
→ Have questions? Our team is here — just ask

Thank you for being part of this with us.

ENT physicians (otolaryngologists) specialize in a variety of conditions and treatments. This can include those affecting the ears, nose, throat and sinuses, which can also be interconnected.

Consider seeing an ENT if you have a cluster of sinus infection symptoms like nasal congestion/discharge, postnasal drip, sore throat, facial pressure/swelling, loss of smell/taste, headache, fever, fatigue or bad breath. If symptoms are persistent or recurring, our team is here to help!

You may receive a registration email for our new portal today or over the weekend. Please attempt to register and if you have any questions, we will do our best to be available Monday through text messages. Please know that our entire patient base will receive this request at the same time. Therefore, please be patient as we try to work through everyone's questions and do not call the office line for these questions. Our hope is that it will be simple and you will not experience any issues!

As a reminder, we are going live on a new electronic medical record system on April 29th. We will be implementing adjustments to our phone system as well. By the end of May, you will be able to schedule many appointments online, text for scheduling or questions, or chat on our website for any questions or scheduling. These services will be available 24/7 once fully implemented, even phone calls. This will allow you the convenience of reaching us when it is convenient for you. There will be bumps over the next few weeks as we adjust to it. We appreciate your patience and look forward to providing you with the best care and experience!

Nasal polyps can come back, even after treatment. To lower the risk, pay attention to symptoms that last more than 10 days (like frequent sneezing, a runny nose, nasal blockage or fullness), and take medications exactly as directed if your ENT prescribes them.

Using a humidifier can also help reduce irritation from cold or dry air, and nasal saline spray can help keep passages clear.

Nosebleeds happen when blood vessels in the nose break, and while they’re usually brief, they can be frustrating.

Common triggers include colds and sinus irritants, dry air (cracking in the nasal lining) and nose scratching. Using a humidifier or saline nasal gels, and staying hydrated, can help when dryness is the culprit.

Seek prompt medical attention if nosebleeds happen often, last longer than 20 minutes, cause breathing difficulty or follow a facial injury.
