Due to severe weather in our area, Ocmulgee Physicians will delay opening on Monday, March 16. For the safety of our patients and staff, our office will not open until 10:00 AM. Now Hiring: Radiology Technician / Bone Density Technologist

Are you a skilled Radiology Technician with experience in bone density (DEXA) scanning? Join our dynamic team and make a difference in patient care!

Position: Radiology Technician / Bone Density Technologist

📍 Location: Ocmulgee Physicians
🕒 Schedule: part time/two days a week

Key Responsibilities:

✔️ Perform high-quality X-rays and DEXA scans to assist in diagnosing bone health conditions.
✔️ Ensure accurate patient positioning and image clarity.
✔️ Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment.
✔️ Follow radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff.
✔️ Assist physicians by providing clear, accurate imaging results.
✔️ Provide compassionate patient care and explain procedures clearly.

Qualifications:

✅ Certified Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or equivalent.
✅ Bone Density (DEXA) certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
✅ Experience in medical imaging, patient positioning, and radiation safety.
✅ Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
