Breastfeeding support is a necessity, not a luxury! Whether it’s a comfortable space to nurse, time to pump at work, or the simple right to feed in public without judgment, parents deserve environments that support their feeding choices. 💼🍼

While not every space or system is where we wish it were yet, we’re here to support YOU every step of the way. 💙 At Primary Pediatrics, your feeding journey is honored, your questions are welcome, and your well-being matters.

This concludes our World Breastfeeding Week series, but our support never ends!

Breastfeeding tip of the week! 🍼 If your baby’s latch hurts or feels shallow, pause and gently try again. A good latch should feel like strong pressure, not sharp pain. A few small tweaks can make a world of difference!

✨ Bonus tip: Your ni**le and part of the ar**la should be in baby’s mouth, not just the tip. If you're unsure, that’s exactly what our lactation team is here for. Give us a call: 478-741-3007 ☎️

We’re here to walk with you through it, without judgment and with plenty of support. You are not alone, and your best is enough. 💞

🌎 Part of our World Breastfeeding Week series—let’s keep the conversation open and honest.

Every feeding story is different—and every single one deserves respect.
Whether you breastfeed, pump, formula feed, or do a little of everything, what matters most is that your baby is loved, fed, and thriving. 💛

Let’s stop the guilt and comparison and instead support parents with empathy and understanding.

This post is part of our World Breastfeeding Week series, where we celebrate every journey—because feeding your baby should come with encouragement, not pressure.

Bringing home a new baby is beautiful—but it can also be overwhelming. 🍼💙 If someone you love is in the newborn stage, here are a few ways to offer real help:

✨ Listen to their wishes and respect their boundaries—every family is different.
🧼 Offer to clean, cook, or run errands instead of just visiting.
👶 Hold the baby only if invited—sometimes what they really need is a nap while you fold laundry.
🍽️ Drop off a meal, not expectations.
💛 Offer to watch the older kids while mom & dad get one-on-one time with the newborn.

Love and support come in many forms—and a little thoughtfulness goes a long way. 💛 What did you find most helpful from others when you had your baby?

We would like to provide some insurance clarification. Primary Pediatrics accepts insurance for all appointments at any facility. There are copays and fees associated with all insurances, and these differ from carrier to carrier.

It has come to our attention that Cigna Insurance now requires that the patient see a Doctor for all appointments. We have now made adjustments that will provide for a telehealth doctor to be available as needed for After Hours care.

If you have Cigna insurance and would like more clarification or to speak with someone regarding this, please feel free to call us at 478.741.3007 (Ext. 1241). You will also be receiving a letter from us with more information as well.

As always, thank you, Facebook friends, for helping us spread the word!
