Earlier this week, the Georgia Agricultural Wellness Alliance (GAWA) participated in the FFA South Region Leadership Rally in Colquitt County, where GAWA Director John McElveen, EdD, taught the future farmers about its mission to promote well-being in Georgia’s agricultural communities.

Last week, staff from participating rural hospitals in KidsABC attended another pediatric emergency care training day at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. The session provided resources and education to strengthen pediatric emergency care. The training concluded with a tour of the Emergency Department at Arthur M. Blank Hospital.

Hospitals in attendance were Donalsonville Hospital, Liberty Regional Medical Center, and Stephens County Hospital.
