🎧 Is your hearing keeping up with your lifestyle?

If you're often asking people to repeat themselves, struggling to follow group conversations, or finding it hard to hear speech in noisy environments, these could be signs of hearing loss. It's a gradual process, and many don't realize it until it starts affecting daily life.

Common signs include:

🔹 Frequently asking others to repeat themselves
🔹 Difficulty following conversations with multiple people
🔹 Thinking people are mumbling or speaking too quietly
🔹 Trouble hearing in noisy settings
🔹 Turning up the TV or radio volume higher than usual
🔹 Responding inappropriately during conversations
🔹 Feeling stressed from straining to hear
🔹 Withdrawing from social situations you once enjoyed

Factors like a family history of hearing loss, exposure to loud noises, certain medications, and health conditions such as diabetes or heart problems can increase your risk.

Don't wait for hearing loss to disrupt your life. Early detection can make a significant difference.

We are so proud of Dr. Karen Melton and Dr. Michelle Woodward for being featured during the Member Showcase at the Owner’s Summit in Carlsbad, California presented by Audigy Group.

They had the opportunity to connect with other practice owners and share insights on Career Pathing, a strategy that has been incredibly successful within Hearing Care Partners. By investing in career development from within, they’ve built stronger teams, boosted retention, and created new growth opportunities, even across our rural office locations.

It’s inspiring to see their leadership and dedication to creating a thriving culture recognized on such a big stage!

✨ From the Owner’s Seat ✨

Running Take Care Transport has introduced us to some of the most incredible people—our passengers! 💙 Every day, we have the privilege of connecting with people, who remind me why I started this journey in the first place.

🚐 Tonight, I rescued a sweet family with car troubles and while on the ride to their home, I learned she is new to the area from California, a highly productive entrepreneur, and a neighbor! Yes - I did a very rural transport tonight. This is a picture we took after I delivered them home safely. I will tag her business in the comments once I find the info as you might enjoy reading about what she does!
🚐 The Pottery necklace I am wearing in this picture was brought to me earlier this afternoon from Acoma Pueblo, New Mexico by the mother and grandmother of a wonderful Truman State University Student, who I helped move in last week after she flew into Kirksville. The necklace's significance is shared kindness, heritage, new friendship, and appreciation. The Hummingbird, while small, is known in Indigenous cultures for resilience and symbolizes joy, beauty and intelligence. I will wear this necklace often.

It’s more than just transportation—it’s companionship, trust, and care. Our passengers become like family, and we are so grateful to provide safe, comfortable rides for such amazing people. ❤️

Thank you to our passengers for letting us be a small part of your journey. Take Care!
