Due to a storm system expected to move through our area during the morning commute, Urology Specialists of GA will operate on a delayed start on Monday, March 16, 2026. Forecasts indicate the potential for strong winds, damaging hail, and possible tornadoes during the early morning hours.

To allow the storm system to move through and help ensure safe travel conditions for our employees and patients, office will open at 10:00 AM.

The safety of our staff, families, and patients are always our top priority. Weather conditions will continue to be monitored tonight and throughout the morning, and any further delays will communicated through text, voice and social media outlets.

Our ambulatory surgery center (ASC) is looking for a registered nurse (RN) to join our team. At our ASC, all the RN’s work together as a team to fulfill the care requirements of our patients. Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, the successful candidate will work within their entire scope of practice. This RN will be fully accountable for ensuring that the utmost in competent care and safety is consistently delivered to all patients. This opportunity awaits a motivated and ambitious professional with nursing experience.

RN’s Duties & Responsibilities:
• Collecting & recording vitals
• Create & maintain a safe and comfortable environment for which surgery can take place.
• Providing directions to patients regarding surgical procedures
• Making follow-up calls to patients
• Calling patients to provide arrival times for next day procedures
• Utilization of the nursing process in all aspects of the delivery of patient care and completion of all activities according to established policies, procedures and protocols.
• Record pertinent information clearly, accurately and in a timely manner.
• Demonstrate positive interpersonal relationships with patients, patients’ family and co-workers.
• Assess the health status of patients by collecting data through patient interaction and physical assessment as well as review of records.
• Ability to recognize variances in the assessment which are normal/abnormal for the patients’ age group.
• Completes admission on patient admission as evidenced by ongoing chart review
• Complete all necessary lab work and IVs in a timely and efficient manner
• Demonstrate effective communication skills and the ability to recognize and intervene in stressful situations involving patient, patient’s family and/or team members.
• Provide patient education to meet the patients ongoing health needs.
• Implement orders for post-anesthesia care of patients.

RN’s Requirements and Qualifications:
• Associate’s Degree in Nursing
• 5+ years’ nursing experience (Urology experience a plus)
• Up to date CPR and ACLS certification
• Current RN license in the state of Georgia
• Exceptional staff training and customer service skills
• Compassionate and friendly demeanor
• Ability to function efficiently & effectively in stressful situations
