😁August is Happiness Happens Month 😁
We’ve all heard the saying, “Laughter is the best medicine,” and is good for our health but have you ever stopped to consider why it holds so much truth? Beyond simply lifting our spirits, laughter has a profound physical and mental benefits on our health. 🙌
Laughter offers numerous benefits, including reducing stress by lowering cortisol levels, boosting the immune system, and increasing endorphins, which are body’s natural pain killers. It also improves heart health by increasing oxygen flow and relaxing blood vessels. Did you know a good laugh is internal jogging which stimulates your organs? Plus, we all know, laughing just makes you feel good and helps to produce happiness. After all, August is Happiness Happens Month so let’s start laughing.🤣
Go ahead and give it a try. Turn the corners of your mouth up into a smile and give a little laugh, even if it feels a little forced. Once you’ve had a chuckle, take stock of how you’re feeling. Are your muscles a little less tense? Do you feel more relaxed? That’s the natural wonder of laughing. Laugh On!! 😂
