Protect Yourself and Your Loved Ones This Flu Season!
As we head into flu season, MCC Internal Medicine encourages you to stay protected with an annual flu shot. According to the CDC, getting a flu shot is the best way to reduce your risk of flu-related illness and serious complications. Here’s why it’s important:
✅ Who Should Get the Flu Shot?
Everyone 6 months and older should get a flu shot every year, especially those at higher risk, including seniors, pregnant women, young children, and individuals with chronic health conditions.
✅ When Should You Get Vaccinated?
Ideally, you should get your flu shot by the end of October. But it’s never too late—better to be vaccinated later in the season than not at all!
✅ What Are the Benefits?
Flu shots have been shown to reduce the risk of flu illness, hospitalizations, and severe complications.
It also helps protect people around you, especially vulnerable individuals who can’t get vaccinated.
We do not offer the flu shot so find a convenient location and get yours done!
