Our staff had an absolute blast during wheelchair races while dressing like a resident as part of our Nursing Home Week celebrations! 💙🩺 A little late… but our appreciation for our nurses is right on time. 🩺💙
During Nurses Week, we had the opportunity to spoil some of the incredible nurses who pour their hearts into caring for our residents every single day. From the long shifts, to the compassion, patience, teamwork, and advocacy — our nurses are truly the heart of High View. 🌸
These small gifts could never fully express the gratitude we have for the dedication and love they show our residents and families every day, but we hope they reminded them just how valued and appreciated they are. 💕
Thank you for the sacrifices you make, the comfort you provide, the smiles you share, and the difference you make in so many lives. We are beyond lucky to have such an amazing nursing team. ✨

At High View, Nursing Home Week is in full bloom! 💐
Our residents and staff have been filling our day room with color, kindness, laughter, and love as we celebrate the beautiful moments that make our community so special. From our blooming wall of encouraging words to decorations created with heart, every flower represents the compassion, teamwork, and joy that grows here each day. 🌸
One of our projects this week
has been creating a giant flower made from “words of kindness” — reminding us all that even the smallest words can brighten someone’s day. 💛
We are blooming together through connection, care, friendship, and the amazing moments shared between residents, families, and staff every single day. 🌼

We treated our residents and staff to delicious yogurt parfaits layered with fruit, creamy yogurt, and a little extra love. It’s the simple things — sharing snacks, laughter, and time together — that make our home so special.

🌸✨ Moments in Bloom at High View ✨🌸

We are having an amazing National Nursing Care Week here at High View! This week is all about celebrating the incredible staff who make our facility feel like home each and every day. 💕

From floral outfits and crazy hair days to wheelchair races, duck hunts, sweet treats, and lots of laughter — our team is truly embracing the fun and spirit of Nursing Home Week! 🌷

More importantly, this week is a reminder of the compassion, patience, teamwork, and dedication our staff bring to our residents every single day. The care provided within these walls goes far beyond healthcare — it is love, comfort, connection, and home.

We are so thankful for everyone participating, dressing up, helping with activities, serving food, sharing smiles, and making this week so special for both our residents and staff. Watching everyone come together and enjoy these moments has been the best part of all. 🌼

As we celebrate Nurses Week, and especially Nurses Day tomorrow, I want to take a moment to recognize the incredible work of our nursing team.

Your dedication, compassion, and professionalism do not go unnoticed. Each day, you show up not only with clinical expertise, but with kindness, patience, and a commitment to providing the highest quality care to those we serve. The impact you make on residents, families, and your colleagues is truly meaningful.

In a field that demands so much, you continue to give your best—even on the most challenging days. That level of commitment is something to be deeply respected and appreciated.
